Two teams came together to play a football match in memory of Davey, with a memorial trophy donated by Newton FC and Andy Tither. Everyone paid £10 to play and we raised a good amount of money to go towards future projects.

After a minute's silence, Tia had the first kick of the ball before the match began.

Everyone can be really proud of the whole day, especially Aaron who masterminded the event.

DARK Memorial Trophy Presentation

The winners keep the trophy until next year.

    Sun shines for Memorial Match 2017 The annual memorial match and funday was held on 8th July and the sun was shining through! We feared that there may be a repeat of 2016 when the funday was cancelled at the last minute due to bad weather, but the weather turned from the forecasted cloud and was sunny all day. View some photos from the day. During the evening The K's entertained an emphatic crowd who cried out for more. It was an awesome end to a very brilliant and emotional day.
